Geek's Place prides itself on checking every last piece of equipment, game disc, controller, console, before it goes on sale but occasionally things may slip through, or items may simply develop faults due to age. We are committed to doing our absolute best to resolve any problems you may have if something goes wrong.
This warranty policy applies to items purchased through any of our retail channels.
Warranty Coverage
Brand New Items
- All brand new items purchased through our retail channels are covered by a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase.
- This warranty covers manufacturing defects and hardware malfunctions under normal usage conditions.
Used Items
- All used items purchased through our retail channels are covered by a 3-month warranty from the date of purchase.
- This covers items that may become faulty through normal usage within that period.
- This warranty also covers functionality issues not disclosed at the time of sale.
Warranty Claims
To make a warranty claim, customers must provide valid proof of purchase, such as:
- Original receipt
- Order number
Without valid proof of purchase, we regret that we cannot honour any warranty claims.
Refunds and Replacements
- Refunds or replacements will be issued only if the item is found to be defective and the claim is made within the warranty period.
- Items must be returned in their original packaging (where practical) and include all accessories.
- Refunds will be processed using the original payment method, or an agreed upon method if this is not possible.
Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or unauthorized modifications
- Cosmetic damage (scratches, dents, etc.)
- Loss or theft
- Software issues or alterations not related to hardware defects
